Do you work with children?

Yes. All ages are welcome.

Those under 18 years require parent/guardian support.

 

Do you have weekend appointments?

No, not at this time.

 

How long is an appointment?

Appointments are for one hour, on the hour, unless discussed otherwise. This is intended to be 50min in session plus time spent on notes for each case.

 

Do I need a referral?

No. A referral is required for programs where payments or rebates are available to assist with payment, but you can book a private appointment at any time. 

Private appointments attract the full fee.

 

 

 

 

How do I get a referral?

The first step in organising a referral is to see your GP; i.e. your family doctor. Your GP will complete a mental health assessment and lodge a Mental Health Care Plan with Medicare should a referral be warranted.

 

Do you Bulk Bill?

Not usually, no. In general, Medicare referrals attract a $30.00 charge in addition to the rebate.

In cases of notable financial hardship Bulk Billed appointments can be discussed.

 

What do I need to bring with me?

If it's a private appointment, bring means of payment.

If it's a Medicare referral, bring your referral with your Medicare card and payment of the $30.00 fee.

Please bring any other relevant reports or documents.
